This is a beautiful modern and stylish project book.
Filled with 20 project for you, your home and your pets. It comes with easy to follow instructions and templates. Each project has a step by step guide and also a customization box with hints and tips.
Each project can be adapted to your wants, the photography is just amazing and the fabric chosen for each item just fills me with envy.
These are projects that can be made by every level of sewist. From beginner to an advanced sewist, there is something for everyone. Each one can be finished in a day.
From bags to cushions to pet toys and quilts and even things for your craft room. This book is a delight, and what I loved was the layout if each project. It is easy to understand and with a simple layout, visually it is very stimulating.
I decided to make the WIP Pouch.
I gathered my chosen fabric and some clear vinyl.
For the back, the fabric is measured and layered into a quilt sandwich. If I am honest, if I make another I will use stabiliser and not batting. I found my finished project a little thick for what I like. Isn’t my fabric lovely!! 🙂
You will also need some quilting clips and a teflon foot is recommended but not essential.
The zip assembly is probably the most difficult part..so take your time!!
The pieces are the placed together and a binding is added. I think it looks really great and perfect for keeping your small WIP clean and all together
