WOW! WOW! WOW!
This is one amazing and brilliant tale.
It is a pacy and gripping read, and what I loved was the voices of the many characters.
Aydin, was abducted as a child and he is Sleeper 13. He is number 13 as there are 12 other boys in his position. Taught to be an insurgent by The Teacher, this highly topical plot is relevant in today’s world. It is also a very dramatic and the author has done a brilliant job in taking the reader behind the scenes in what might and could be a very real situation.
I am quite certain there will never be a novel written in quite the same way as Sleeper 13. It is powerful and convincing… It is psychological and thrilling.. It is a forceful read that just blew my mind and if I am completely honest, this was a book that I didn’t think I would enjoy..but.. the twists, turns and OMG! the action, all made this book such a scarily thrilling read for me.
A fabulous work of fiction that could easily be adapted for the big screen, it is both compelling and impressive.. I loved it.
