Debbie Shore is an ambassador for sewists, new and old. She loves nothing more than to see how we all make her projects come alive and how we adapt them by adding our own stamp.

Not only is this great little book full of inspiration,it has handy tips, sewing know-how and embellishment ideas.  There are templates to help you complete your project in the back of the book.

The Santa Express is an adorable and colorful project for the smallest members of our family and The Promise Tree, I think, has a romantic notion for our loved ones. It is finished with tags that you can write a ‘I will’ promise on… just think of the promises you could give to your wife, husband or even a Grandparent.

I love this book and would recommend to every lover of sewing. It has no expiration date so these are projects that will be loved and adored for years to come.

I decided to make The Promise Tree.

The best thing about Christmas projects is choosing the fabric.

Everything you need is simply described, along with beautiful photographic pictures for direction.

With a few simple steps I had the basic shape of my tree, I was really surprised at how big it was. Even at this stage it looks fabulous.

After a couple of hours, I had a finished tree,

I didn’t have any felt for numbers so I just used a sharpie pen. It looks great.

Now just to add the tags.

Win my Promise Tree… along with silver tags on which to write your promises

leave a comment telling me what you love about Christmas…..or not!! 🙂 (UK only)

I will pick a winner on Friday 14th July.

The winner has been chosen and notified x

Happy Sewing
