The Santa Express is an adorable and colorful project for the smallest members of our family and The Promise Tree, I think, has a romantic notion for our loved ones. It is finished with tags that you can write a ‘I will’ promise on… just think of the promises you could give to your wife, husband or even a Grandparent.
I love this book and would recommend to every lover of sewing. It has no expiration date so these are projects that will be loved and adored for years to come.
I decided to make The Promise Tree.
The best thing about Christmas projects is choosing the fabric.
Everything you need is simply described, along with beautiful photographic pictures for direction.
With a few simple steps I had the basic shape of my tree, I was really surprised at how big it was. Even at this stage it looks fabulous.
After a couple of hours, I had a finished tree,
I didn’t have any felt for numbers so I just used a sharpie pen. It looks great.
Now just to add the tags.
Win my Promise Tree… along with silver tags on which to write your promises
leave a comment telling me what you love about Christmas…..or not!! 🙂 (UK only)
I will pick a winner on Friday 14th July.
