Close your eyes … Just pray you don’t wake up.
A killer stalks the streets of East London. All over the area, murdered young women are discovered, their bodies posed into disturbing recreations of fairytale princesses.
Detective Ruby Preston is determined to hunt down the murderer who is using the women to realise his dark fantasies. But when body parts are found at the home of her lover, Nathan Crosby, Ruby is torn between her job and her heart.
Convinced that he is being framed, Ruby must catch the killer before Nathan becomes the number one suspect. But as more victims are found, it becomes harder to prove his innocence.
As Ruby starts to close in on the twisted individual, can she stop him before he strikes again? And how well does she really know the man she loves?
Man Oh Man!!!!!!
Mitchell once again brings Ruby Preston to life in a fast paced and highly intense thrill to read novel.
A serial killer is on the move and with fairy tales in mind is dressing them up as characters.
Ruby is disturbed when evidence is found at her ‘true loves’ house, but with his background of violence and crime, can he really be the one she is looking for?
Ruby and her team of brilliance race against the clock and the tale takes us on a ride that can only come from the mind of Caroline Mitchell.
I have read all of her books and they are all fabulous. I just wish that from the start I gave her first book 1 star, her second 2 stars etc, because Caroline just gets better and better with each fictional offering. I would truly love to know what what makes her tick and how she she manages to come up with such cunning and vicious characters. The fact is that there could really be such a person out there
I love the baddies and Nathan is my favorite. i think he does have a ‘lovable rogue’ side but his history and his family connections keep him in Ruby’s mind.
Caroline really knows her stuff (being an ex-copper – sorry for the ‘copper’ bit Caroline) and her experience in the force gives her an edge not often seen. She is an author I recommend over and over and I for one can’t get enough.
Keep doing what you’re doing girl x
