I’m not your mother. You’re a monster. I don’t want you’

Women who gave a child up for adoption are being killed. A knock at their front door begins a nightmare from which they will never wake up.

For Detective Ruby Preston and her team, it is a race against time to connect the dots before the killer can strike again. But when Ruby receives a sinister email, the case takes a terrifying personal twist.

Could the clues to the identity of the killer lie in Ruby’s own past?

Who can she trust with her secrets?

And could Ruby be next?

Caroline Mitchells writing is like fine wine.. it just gets better and better with every book.

Love You To Death is a hard hitting ‘psycho’-logical thriller that is pacy, gripping and just simply, brilliantly terrifying.

Ruby Preston is a cop with a conscience, she knows what right but in order to do her job, she knows that she might sometimes have to cross a line.

I loved Lucy, her disturbing and fragile mind gives her an edge and that made me feel for her. All she wants is her mother, and in trying to find her and get her to love her, results in a gripping and twisty and bizarre nightmare, for her victims and for Ruby.

This is a book that I really enjoyed just reading unhurriedly. whereas I normally want to jump to the end to see how it ends. The smooth and skillful plot unfolds beautifully, with a tenseness that is deliciously moreish.

Love You To Death is exciting and intoxicating. It’s a one sit read and one to be devoured and with an ending as dramatic as the beginning I think Love You To Death is going to be riding high in the book charts.

I can’t wait for the next one.
